(WSIL) -- A weak cold front moving through early Saturday morning will bring clouds, a few showers, and a booster shot of cool air. Any light showers that do make it into the region will be focused north of Rt13 in the early morning hours and should exit the region around sunrise. The cooler air could bring some temperature readings in the 40s Sunday morning. A warmup is expected to push afternoon temperatures into the mid 80s for much of early next week.
Chances for rain are overall small for the next week and long range projections continue to suggest October overall will be dry. I will have the latest forecast updates on News 3 WSIL.
