Marion, KY Conserve Water

(WSIL) -- More water is being delivered to residents in Marion, Kentucky.

Kentucky Emergency Management Officials say 6 truck loads of water were delivered Wednesday.

City Engineers also repaired a water-line leak, which is expected to save an estimated 144,000-gallons of water per day.

Work is almost complete for the new water connection with the City of Marion and Sturgis Water Company.

They say, it will help meet more of the city's water demand.
