Pet Fest is coming to Marion

MARION (WSIL)---If you want to find your furever friend- Pet Fest is the purrfect opportunity.

The event is Saturday, October 2nd, and is put on by Finding Forever Animal Rescue. They'll have food trucks, vendors, and you'll get a chance to adopt a dog or cat!

There's a cash-only vaccine and micro-chip clinic from 10 am to 1 pm. You can bring any of your pets to that.

Cat adoption fees are lowered if you want to take home a cat or two!

"It's a free event, if you're looking for something to do, it's a family friendly event. We'll have bounce houses for the kids, games to play, lots of animals up for adoption. So if you're looking to adopt a dog, cat, puppy or kitten, we will have all of the above there, ready to be finding their forever homes," said Finding Forever Animal Rescue's Director, Becca Baird.

Pet Fest is at the Oasis Event Centre on Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm.
