WSIL -- The former governor of California-- and the star of such films like 'The Terminator', 'Predator', 'Jingle All the Way,' etc. -- isn't letting a cheap shot to his back keep him from attending a tournament that bears his name.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is in South Africa this weekend attending the Arnold Classic Africa in Johannesburg. The Arnold Classic began in the United States in 1989 but expanded internationally in 2011. This year marks the fourth year of the multi-sport festival in South Africa.
On Saturday, the 'Commando' star was speaking to a group of fans when a man ran behind Schwarzenegger and performed a dropkick onto the actor's back. Security quickly grabbed the man and escorted him out of the building.
Schwarzenegger tweeted out a message thanking fans for their concerns and said he was unaware of the dropkick until he saw the video. He shared a Twitter video of the incident and implemented some basketball lingo by jokingly asking fans, "By the way... block or charge ?"
The actor poked fun at the incident once more in another video posted Sunday during a girls' karate tournament, "I'm so lucky that none of these girls got to dropkick me yesterday."
