Warm up will bring chances for rain

Posted: Updated:

CARTERVILLE (WSIL) - Cold air is being shoved out of the region, and the process will bring rain for many of us. Showers are likely across southern Illinois tonight and early Wednesday.  Lighting is possible, but severe weather is unlikely.

Wednesday afternoon temperatures should return to the 70s after five days of cooler than normal conditions. The warming trend is expected to push us back into the 80s before we get to the weekend.
