PERRY CO. -- County leaders will wait a few more days to potentially decide on layoffs or reduced work-weeks.
On Thursday afternoon, department heads and board members were supposed to hold a special budget meeting on the issue, but it was postponed.
Last week, the board told department heads to come up with a plan to make as many cuts as possible while still being able to comply with law. The reports were due Tuesday but News 3 was told there was a delay with at least one department.
The meeting is now expected to take place Monday, April 15 at 9 a.m.
