Cardinals host home opener against Padres

ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- Warmer temperatures are coinciding with the start of the Major League Baseball season.

The St. Louis Cardinals will play in their first home game of the year at Busch Stadium against the San Diego Padres at 3:15 p. m. on Friday.

The game was originally scheduled for Thursday but was postponed due to weather. The Cardinals started the season last week splitting their first six games.

News 3's Dave Davis spoke to fans outside of Busch Stadium who say the rain didn't keep them from camping out overnight.


DIRECTIONS TO BUSCH STADIUM

Those traveling from Marion can take Interstate 57 north to the Interstate 64 interchange and head west to St. Louis

Continue on I-64 until you cross the Poplar street bridge into Missouri, and take take exit 40A which is Stadium/Tucker Boulevard.

PARKING

$2 parking can be found on 20th and Pine St.

Kiener West Garage at 604 Pine St. is offering parking spots for $7.

Premium parking is located across the street from the at 500 S. Broadway and costs $60.50.
