10th annual Christmas in the Village comes to Cobden

Posted: Updated:

COBDEN, Ill. -- It’s almost December, and that means Christmas decorations are starting to appear. For some, putting up the decorations can be a chore, but for one southern Illinois village, it's a Christmas tradition.

Saturday, December 1, Cobden will come to life with Christmas cheer, just like it has for the last decade. This year's celebration marks the 10th annual Christmas in the Village.

Cobden's old feed store will have of activities for visitors, and there will be open houses at local businesses. There will also be Holiday Bazaars and then, the annual presentation of the town’s Christmas lights.

Business owners say it's a great way to celebrate the season, all while showing off Cobden.
