You can help "Thank a Hero"

Posted: Updated:

MARION, Ill. -- Two Marion businesses are teaming up to give back to the community and recognize our local heroes.

Preventative Maintenance Repair and Bennie's Italian Foods have created the "Thank A Hero" project and want you to nominate your hero.

The top three heroes will receive a catered dinner for four delivered to their home or work and a free oil change.

"We have all levels of heroes and we want to shine some positivity in the community in a time where we have a lot of political strife going on," said PMR Manager Nicole Firebaugh.

Hero nominations will be accepted through November 9 and can be nominated online at PMR's website.
