Restaurant Report Card: October 29, 2018

Posted: Updated:

WSIL -- There are a handful of restaurants we're checking out this week.

We begin in Williamson County where the inspector gave Andresen's Cafe in Johnston City a 91. There was one critical violation found. It was a four point deduction because there was no rinse water nor proper sanitizer solution found at the three compartment sink. A refrigerator needed a thermometer and some cooked items in another fridge were not properly labeled. A couple areas of the kitchen needed to be cleaned better too.

Cristaudo's in Carbondale got a 95 from the Jackson County inspector. No critical violations were found, but several cleaning issues were noted. But points were deducted because some grills, the floor and the waitress station all needed to be cleaned better. The refrigerator also had a broken gasket that needed to be repaired.

It's also a 95 for the Bob Evans in Paducah. The McCracken County inspector took away points for improper food temperatures and the storage of some utensils and equipment. But nothing critical was found during that inspection.
