Historians bring to life famous leaders of the Civil War

CARTERVILLE -- The 14th Annual Civil War Days at John A. Logan college will feature both Union and Confederate Generals.

The free event is Wednesday, October 17 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. 

Union General Ulysses S. Grant ( Dr. E.C. Fields) will discuss his life and the Battle of Shiloh. He will be joined by his wife Julia Grant (Lena Fields) who will discuss her role during the war.

Confederate General Robert E. Lee (Bobby Samuel) will be on hand along with other Civil War re-enactors.
