Fall Family Festival

Posted: Updated:

WEST FRANKFORT, Ill. -- It was a night of family fun and free food in West Frankfort this evening.

The Night's Shield, a resource for families in Franklin County, hosted the event supported by the Positive Youth Development of Franklin and Williamson County.

Festival activities included a petting zoo, pumpkin painting, and even free hot dogs.

Organizers say they hope to paint the Night's Shield as a welcoming and safe place in the community for area families who may need their services.
