Final suspect connected to 2017 murder heading to prison

MT. VERNON, Ill. --  Another suspect connected to a 2017 murder in Jefferson County is headed to prison.

A judge sentenced Deon Frazier to four years in the department of corrections for attempted robbery and attempted home invasion.

Frazier was one of 10 suspects charged in connection to Deandray Jackson's murder in January 2017.

The following defendants previously pled guilty or were found guilty to charges related to the investigation:

John Wells – Murder – 70 years Department of Corrections
Jarron Liddell – Obstructing Justice – Conditional Discharge (5 years DOC on unrelated charge)
Dantrez Brown – Obstructing Justice – 2 years Department of Corrections (consecutive 6 years on unrelated charge)
Lamar Williams Jr. – Felon In Possession of Firearm – 5 years Department of Corrections
Lekedrieon Russell – Attempted Robbery and Attempted Home Invasion - 15 years Department of Corrections
Curtis Devan Jr. – Obstructing Justice – 27 months Department of Corrections
Gerrodo Forest – Attempted Home Invasion – 13 years Department of Corrections
Tony Feggins – Obstructing Justice – 4 years Department of Corrections
Z.P.(juvenile) – Attempted Robbery and Attempted Home Invasion – 15 years Department of Corrections
