Search for shooting suspect in Carbondale

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Carbondale police are trying to track down a shooting suspect.

Investigators say a male got shot in the abdomen on Friday afternoon.

It happened in the 800 block of W. High Street.

The victim had met with a female acquaintance when a male that was with her pulled out a gun and shot the victim after demanding property.

The victim suffered non life-threatening injuries.

Officers arrested the female but haven't been able to identify the shooter.
