WSIL -- Once each year, the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois brings their KidneyMobile to southern Illinois for free screenings.
One in three American adults is at risk for kidney disease. The mobile offers free kidney and diabetes screenings. The Diabetes Today Resource Team, in collaboration with five local health departments, is hosting the Southern Illinois KidneyMobile tour. It will start on Monday, August 6 and will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at a different location each day.
Monday the tour will be at the Perry County Health Department in Pinckneyville.
Tuesday at the Davis-McCann Center in Murphysboro.
Wednesday will be at Community Health & Emergency Services in Cairo.
Thursday will be at the First Presbyterian Church in Harrisburg.
Friday will be at Franklin County Senior Services in West Frankfort.
