WWE 'SummerSlam Heatwave Tour' stops in Carbondale

CARBONDALE -- Some of the biggest and best Superstars in WWE are making a stop in Carbondale soon. WWE's 'SummerSlam Heatwave Tour' features the Superstars of SmackDown Live! and will be at the SIU Arena on Monday, July 23.

Bell time that night is 7:30 p.m. News 3's Kevin Hunsperger recently talked with WWE Superstar Rusev (on Rusev Day no less) about the event. You can hear his comments in the video.

Tickets start at $15 and are still available online. Head here for more details. 

Other Superstars scheduled to appear include WWE Champion AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, the Miz and U.S. Champion Shinsuke Nakamura.

    MARION, Ill -- An estimated 3,000 supporters attended the Welcome Home celebration at Veterans Airport Tuesday. When participants arrived back from a full day of touring war memorials in Washington D.C., they were greeted by locals waving American flags and homemade banners.
