New Burnside woman struck and killed by truck

CREAL SPRINGS -- Authorities are investigating after a woman was struck and killed by a truck in Williamson County.

It happened Thursday along Route 166 near Creal Springs just before 9:00 p.m. 

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office says 20-year-old Amber Dawn Agin, of New Burnside, was walking northbound on Route 166 when she was hit and killed by a pickup truck.

Agin was pronounced dead at the scene by the Williamson County coroner.

The name of the driver is not being released at this time.  No charges were filed against the driver.

An autopsy was performed on Agin Friday morning. The results of that autopsy are pending.
