WSIL earns awards from Illinois Broadcasters Association

WSIL -- The Illinois Broadcasters Association has recognized News 3 with a pair of Silver Dome Awards.

Former Weekend Anchor Brandon Richard earned "Best Reporter" and the WSIL Staff picked up "Best Newscast" for our March 1, 2017 6:30 p.m. tornado coverage.

The IBA presented the Silver Dome Awards in Normal, Illinois on Wednesday.

    HARRISBURG--  The Defense Department, Delta Leadership Authority and the Egyptian Health Department are teaming up for free screenings for people of all ages in our region. Officials say you do not have to be an area resident to receive treatment; anyone who attends will receive care on a first-come, first -served basis.  Patients will receive; free medical, dental, and a wide range of optometry services and you can even be provided a free eye glasses.
