ABC in talks to reboot 'Roseanne': report

Posted: Updated:

WSIL-TV - The Conner family may be back on the air this fall, minus the family matriarch, Roseanne. TMZ reports that ABC is in talks to reboot the show, centering it around Sara Gilbert's character, Darlene Conner.

Sources tell TMZ that Gilbert is calling other cast members to gauge their interest if ABC approves the idea. John Goodman is reportedly very excited.

ABC is trying to save the jobs of those who lost their jobs when the network canceled the show.

Tuesday, ABC canceled 'Roseanne' after its star and namesake, Roseanne Barr went on a racist twitter rant against a former Obama aide, Valerie Jarrett.
