Posted: Updated:

PINCKNEYVILLE -- News 3 This Morning co-anchor Kevin Hunsperger will be stepping inside the pro wrestling ring for a good cause. On Saturday, May 26 Kevin faces off against former Stride Pro Wrestling Champion Roger Matheus.

The match will be held inside a steel cage. The two have been at odds for months now and the solution is to settle the score in the cage.

This encounter is one of six steel cage matches set for Saturday's Stride Goes Steel in the 'Ville event. It's a fundraiser for the athletic program at Pinckneyville High School. Incoming high school principal Tony Wilson teams up with Community 204 teacher and coach Josh Plumlee as well. And 204's superintendent and principal Jerry Travelstead will also wrestle that night.

Other wrestlers scheduled to appear; champion Jay Spade, Tony Flood, Heath Hatton, Ax Allwardt, Wraith, "Farmer" Billy Hills and Dexter Roswell among others.

Tickets are still available, contact (618) 357-5013 for details.
