Posted: Updated:

WSIL-TV - If you're looking for an excuse to get out and become one with nature, how does "free admission" sound?

It's National Park Week, which means on Saturday, April 21st, admission fees will be waived for all national parks. There are several National parks within driving distance of southern Illinois, including Abraham Lincoln's birthplace in Kentucky, Lincoln's Home in Springfield, Illinois, Jefferson National Expansion Memorial in St. Louis, as well as Mammoth Cave National Park in Kentucky.
