Fire damages home in Jonesboro

JONESBORO -- A fire at a home in Jonesboro this morning left significant damage. 

The fire broke out at the home of Jonesboro Police Chief, David Wilkins. 

Anna Police Chief, Michael Hunter, said crews arrived around 8:30 a.m. to find flames bursting through the upstairs French doors. 

Fire crews were able to get the flames under control, but the house sustained heavy damage to the upstairs. 

Multiple fire departments responded to the call. 

No one was hurt.
