Train derailment closes Highway 148

FRANKLIN CO. -- Highway 148 in Zeigler is closed due to a minor train derailment. 

The Director of Emergency Management in Franklin County said there's no danger to the public. Only one car is off the tracks and it was carrying a type of rock. 

Police are re-routing traffic onto Church Street.

It is currently unknown when 148 will be back open.
