Paducah shooting suspects names, one arrested

PADUCAH-- Authorities have released the names of the men accused in a deadly shooting in Paducah Thursday morning.

Michael Evers, 21, of Belknap, was arrested by the Metropolis Police Department on a Kentucky warrant charging him with First Degree Assault.

Police are still searching for the second person of interest, Lonnie J. Moore, 34, of Vienna. Moore is described as bald, 5'10", 245 lbs, and facial hair. Moore currently has an outstanding warrant from Massac County charging him with Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Peace Officer and Resisting a Peace Officer. Moore is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

Anyone with information about the incident or Moore's whereabouts is asked to call the Paducah Police Department at 270-444-8550 of Crime Stoppers at 443-TELL.

    WSIL -- The first disaster relief volunteers with the Illinois Baptist State Association (IBSA) are on their way to Lumberton, North Carolina. The Illinois crews come from a trained pool of about 1,700 volunteers and are a part of the larger Southern Baptist Disaster Relief, which is the country's largest aid organization next to the Red Cross and Salvation Army.
