Carbondale police investigate overnight shooting

CARBONDALE -- Police in Carbondale are investigating an overnight shooting. It happened around 2 a.m. on Thursday (April 5). 

Police say an unidentified person suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound in the 200 block of North Wall Street. The victim is reportedly an acquaintance of one of the two shooting suspects. The victim was taken to Memorial Hospital of Carbondale for injuries. 

No arrests have been made. Police are looking for a dark complected man in his early to mid-20s. He was wearing a light blue hoodie and jeans at the time. That man is believed to be the shooter. The second person police are looking for is a 31 year old black man. He was wearing a black jacket, black hoodie and black jeans.
