Search underway for missing mom and 1-year-old

UPDATED: THURSDAY MARCH 22. 2018 1:40 p.m.

POPLAR BLUFF, MO --Police say Brown and her child have been found and are safe.

They are not releasing any other details right now. 

ORIGINAL STORY

POPLAR BLUFF, MO -- Police need your help tracking down a missing woman and her 1-year-old child.

Sara Brown, 32, hasn't been seen since March 7.

Brown and her infant, Geneva Genova, left their home on that date.

Brown did call family members on March 16 but didn't say where she was.

Family members are concerned about Brown and Genova.

They believe she may be in the Osage Beach, MO area.

Brown is believed to be traveling in a white 2009 Cadillac CTS bearing Missouri registration CL2-G5X.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Poplar Bluff Police Department at (573) 785-5776.

    WSIL -- The first disaster relief volunteers with the Illinois Baptist State Association (IBSA) are on their way to Lumberton, North Carolina. The Illinois crews come from a trained pool of about 1,700 volunteers and are a part of the larger Southern Baptist Disaster Relief, which is the country's largest aid organization next to the Red Cross and Salvation Army.
