Carbondale Police investigating shots fired

CARBONDALE-- Carbondale Police are investigating a case of shots fired Saturday morning.
Carbondale Lt. Matt Dunning said foot patrol officers heard multiple gunshots at 2:51 a.m. coming from the 600 block of W. College St.

Witnesses at the scene provided varying descriptions of the male shooter. One description was the man was wearing all gray; the other said the suspect was in all red.

No arrests have been made at this time and there were no injured reported in the incident.

SIU Police assisted Carbondale officers on the call.
