Ways to help Marshall County High School victims

Posted: Updated:

WSIL -- It's a question many are asking: How to help victims of the Marshall County school shooting?

There are several ways to help. Here are a few:

Several businesses like Jett Setters and Bluegrass Toggerty are selling T-Shirts to raise money for the victims' families and survivors.

The shirts come with different designs, but they all convey the same message: pride, strength and resilience in the face of evil.

Bracelets with labels like "Marshall County Strong" are also a popular item this week. Most places like HITECOutdoors and Community Financial Services Bank are selling them for $1, as long as supplies last.

There's also a way to help the victims' families and survivors directly.

The Marshall County Rotary Club set up a bank account at First Kentucky Bank in Benton, KY. The Rotary said 100 percent of the money donated to its "Youth Service Fund of Marshall County" will go directly to the victims. After all needs are met, the remaining money will go toward scholarships.

There's another fund set up at First Kentucky Bank under the name "MCHS Victims." Donations can be made at any branch.

There's also an account set up for victims at Community Financial Services Bank. You can visit any CFSB location to donate. Donations can also be made online at: https://smartpay.profitstars.com/express/CFSBGiveCPP/Payment/QuickPay?LocationId=%7B+id+%3D+LocationId+%7D
