Benton remains undefeated in the conference with win over Murphysboro

MURPHYSBORO - Benton and Murphysboro met up on Wednesday night for a River to River Ohio battle.  The Rangers entered the matchup 4-0 in the conference while the Red Devils were 3-1.

The teams were tied at 20 at the half and 31 at the end of the third quarter.

The Rangers pull out the win 41-37.

    CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Carbondale Police are investigating a deadly accident that happened in the 500 block of North Wall around 8 p.m. Monday evening. Witnesses and family members tell us a driver hit and killed a five-year-old boy.  Police expect to release more information Tuesday.
