In Franklin County, Clubhouse Grille in West Frankfort received a 99, Larry's Pit Barbecue in Christopher got a 92 and Maid Rite was a point lower. One critical violation was a five point deduction because some hot food items were not being store hot enough.

It's a pair of perfect scores in Jackson County. Both Mary Lou's in Carbondale and Pat's Barbecue and Catering in Murphysboro received 100s. In Mt. Vernon the Jefferson County inspector gave King Barbacoa a 97 and the Waffle Company earned a 94.

The Perry County inspector took away one point from Mark's Bakery in Du Quoin and Kalin's Cafe received a 97. BJ's Cafe in Du Quoin earned a 96. The Williamson County inspector gave Big Blues Cue in Creal Springs and Cool Spoons in Marion a 99. Baan Thai in Marion and Joe's Place in Herrin each received a 96.
