Restaurant Report Card: International restaurants

WSIL --  We're checking out a few international spots around the region in this week's Restaurant Report Card.

In Jackson County, Sergio's Mexican Restaurant in Murphysboro was perfect, Tres Hombres received a 97 and both Qin Guan and Thai Taste earned 96s. China Express received a 95 and Cummare's Italian Restaurant got a 93. One critical violation was found, that was a lack of sanitizing solution at the dish machine. The problem was immediately corrected.

The Jefferson County inspector gave a 98 to both Ali Asian Cuisine and Guero's. La Fiesta was a few points lower with a 95. In Perry County, The Tequila's in Du Quoin earned a 95 and Alongi's received a 94. One critical violation was found, five points were deducted because the walk in cooler was too warm.

The inspectors in the southern seven district gave China House Buffet in Metropolis a 94 and El Jalapeno Inc. in Anna got a 92.
