Shots fired during disturbance in Colp

COLP -- The Williamson County Sheriff says shots were fired during a domestic disturbance in Colp Wednesday morning.

It happened around 9:55 a.m. on Garfield Street.

Deputies took reports of shots fired at the same address a short time later.

Officers from Carterville and Crainville Police Departments were dispatched to assist the Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators say nobody got shot.

Three people face charges, but the sheriff isn't releasing their names right now.

One faces unlawful use of a weapon and violation of an order of protection.

Two others face battery charges.
