CARBONDALE -- A multi-month investigation into armed robberies of delivery drivers has landed a Carbondale man in jail.

Police say Bobby Barnes faces three counts of armed robbery.

During the month of April Carbondale police took three reports of restaurant delivery drivers being robbed at gunpoint.

Chief of Police Jeff Grubbs said, “The investigative leads developed by our patrol officers, combined with the tenacity of our detectives culminated in the arrest of Barnes.  I commend them for their hard work in bringing this subject to justice."

Police say their investigation continues.
