WSIL -- Several pets in our region are looking for a home for the holidays.

Hart is first. He's a two and a half year old cat who would get along well with other cats. Contact the Humane Society of Southern Illinois for more details.

Vixon is no reindeer, but a four month old lab. He is neutered and up to date on shots. You'll find him at Wayne County Humane Society.

There is a dachshund mix who needs a name and a new home. He gets along well with others. You can meet him at Jefferson County Animal Control in Mt. Vernon.

This guy needs a name too. He's about a year old and the folks at Williamson County Animal Control tell us he's friendly too.

The city of Marion animal control has this pretty kitty up for adoption.
