CCHS Band sells Christmas Trees as fundraiser

Posted: Updated:

CARBONDALE -- For years now, Carbondale Community High School's Band has sold Christmas Tree's to help raise money for the program.

This year they've already sold close to a hundred trees, but they still have a great selection with a couple hundred left.

Band students help you bag and load up the tree to take home.

Parent and Tree Sales Coordinator, Bill Sasso, says the money allows the band to do things they may otherwise not be able to do.

"That money goes to help replace costumes and instruments that the band doesn't have a school budget to replace. It helps when the band goes on field trips," said Sasso.

The fundraiser is located in the Hobby Lobby parking lot. They're open on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. Every weekday evening they are there from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
