UPDATE: Graves Co. shooting suspect arrested

UPDATE: 9:00 P.M. Saturday, November 11:

WSIL - Kentucky State Police have arrested Doug A. Becker.  At approximately 6:15 p.m., Marshall County Dispatch received a call from a citizen reporting a male matching the description on Phelps Road, near Symsonia Highway in Marshall County.

KSP Troopers responded to the area and located Becker. 

He was taken into custody without incident. 

Troopers have transported Mr. Becker to a local hospital for medical clearance, due to his prolonged (overnight) exposure to cold temperatures.

Once medically cleared for incarceration, he will be taken to the Graves County Jail.

His charges, from the arrest warrant issued Friday night, will be First Degree Burglary, First Degree Unlawful Imprisonment, Attempted Murder, two counts of Fourth Degree Assault, and three counts of First Degree Wanton Endangerment.

Detective Eric Fields continues to lead the investigation.

GRAVES CO. -- Police in Graves County, Kentucky are looking for a man they believe is connected to a Friday afternoon home invasion and shooting. 

Police said around 6:30 Friday evening, they responded to a home on Bell Road in Symsonia, Kentucky for reports of shots fired. 

When officers arrived, they said they learned 31-year-old Douglas Becker of Texas fled on foot after unlawfully entering the home and assaulting two people. 

He fired at least one shot from a firearm he had brought with him, police said.

Troopers have been searching throughout the night for Becker, who's being charged with attempted murder.

Officers believe he is still in the area of Graves County.
