WSIL -- Quatro's Pizza in Carbondale has a new number, it's 99. The Jackson County inspector took away one point because some items in the cooler were not properly labeled.

The Fazoli's in Carbondale received an 86 from the Jackson County inspector. Two critical violations were noted. A five point deduction because of improper food temperatures. The walk in cooler was not keeping food cold enough because of a malfunction with the unit and hot food items like meat balls and marinara sauce were not being kept at the proper temperature at the steam table. One of the sanibuckets had no solution in it, which was a four point loss.  The floor, microwave and soda nozzles all needed to be cleaned as well.

Crainville's The Wyld Hog received a 91. The Williamson County inspector didn't find any critical violations. Mildew needed to be removed from the door seal of the walk in cooler, that was a two point loss. Food items and trays with food have to be kept more than six inches off the floor which is also a two point deduction.

Asian Buffet in Mt. Vernon got a 93 from the Jefferson County inspector. A four point critical violation was noted, that was because the two door cooler was at 60 degrees. It's supposed to be 41 degrees or lower. Some utensils were not being stored properly either.

Morello's Pizza and Grill in Harrisburg lost three points during its most recent check. The Saline County inspector deducted points because the floor, walls and food contact surfaces needed to be cleaned better.
