Multiple shootings under investigation in Mt. Vernon

MT. VERNON --Police are now seeking the public's help to find a person of interest who could be connected to a string of shootings.

Dante Timon Moore, 22, is six feet tall, 150 lbs., and has the tattoo on his arm you see below.

If you see Moore call police or Crimestopers.

UPDATED: MONDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2017 11:20 a.m.

MT. VERNON -- Officers have arrested Karim McGee, 25, in connection to the shooting on South 24th and Logan. 

He faces an aggravated unlawful use of a weapon charge. 

Police believe all three shootings are related. They anticipate additional arrests.

MT. VERNON -- Police Chief Chris Diechman confirms to News 3 his officers are investigating shootings at three separate scenes.

Diechman says the shootings happened at 24th and Logan, 23rd & Conger, and in the 700 block of Conger.

One of those shootings sent two people to the hospital.

The shootings happened in the early evening hours.

Diechman expects to release more information Tuesday afternoon. Stay with News 3 for updates.
