Posted: Updated:

WSIL --  With school back in session, many parents find themselves hitting the drive thru to get dinner in between busy extra curricular activities. Here's a closer look at some of the scores from fast food joints in the region.

In Jackson County, the Subway at the SIU Student Center only lost one point. Panda Express earned a 95 and Taco Bell got a 93. The Johnson County inspector gave the Vienna Subway a 99. In Massac County, the Quizno's in Metropolis got a 96 and Hardee's received a 93.

The Saline County inspector took away one point from Arby's in Harrisburg and Hardee's got a 96. One critical violation was noted, the door frame was broken, but has since been repaired.

In Anna, the Dairy Queen got a 96. KFC/Taco Bell earned a 94 and Hardee's was a point lower. All restaurants in Williamson County last month were inspected in Marion. Taco Bell received a 96. Wendy's and KFC were both a point lower.

Hardee's and Back Yard Burgers each got a 92 and Fazoli's earned a 90. One critical violation was found and that was a four point loss because the restaurant needed to be treated for ants.
