Man arrested for setting a restaurant on fire in Cape Girardeau County

CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTY, MO. -- Authorities said a man set fire to a business in Delta, Missouri early Saturday morning.

Deputies responded to reports of a fire at Jax Bar and Grill around 3:00 a.m. where they say a man broke into the restaurant and later set it on fire.

34-year-old Kevin Coomer, of Burfordville, Missouri, is being charged with arson and burglary. 

He was booked in the Cape Girardeau County Justice Center and has a bond set at $500,000.
