WSIL -- There are several places hiring in our region. 

First up Southern Illinois Motor Xpress in Cutler. They're hiring an experienced diesel mechanic. Requirements include being proficient with computer diagnostic software and you must have your own tools. There is a full benefits package, vacation and a 401K. Call (618) 497-7220

The VF Outlet in West Frankfort is hiring part time workers. Jobs are 28 hours a week with the opportunity to go full time.

SIU Career Services Center is hosting two career fairs. Students and alumni are invited to attend. The Science, Technology, Engineering and Math career fair is Tuesday, Sept. 19 from 1 to 5 p.m. The next day is the University Career Fair. Both are at the SIU Arena.

Heritage Woods of Benton has a few positions open right now. They're looking for a certified nursing assistant to help with resident care activities. That person must have a nursing assistant certificate. A dietary aide position is also available. Prior food service experience is preferred. They're also hiring a cook.
