Paul Simon analyst weighs in on Trump's changing staff

Posted: Updated:

WSIL -- In the past six months of President Donald Trump's term, his staff continues to change.

Former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci only held his position for 11 days before resigning.

Since Trump took office, Scaramucci, Sean Spicer, Michael Flynn, James Comey, Reince Priebus and several others have had to move on from their positions.

Political analysts like John Jackson said it's the most turnover they've seen with any modern president.

"It's absolutely an indication that the president didn't know how to run a government," Jackson said. "He didn't even know how to staff up to run the White House, and that is showing up now in terms of all this turnover."

Jackson said President Trump's recent hire for White House Chief of Staff, General John Kelly, may be able to bring more stability to the Trump Administration.
