Carbondale Police continue cold case investigation

CARBONDALE -- Carbondale Police Department is still looking for answers, to a homicide that happened 11 years ago.

On July 13, 2006, Ryan Livingston was walking alone on the sidewalk in the 300 block of West Walnut Street. Police say he was approached by two men just before 11 that night and stabbed to death during an apparent robbery gone wrong.

The Carbondale Police Department is still actively investigating the case and wants anyone who may have information to come forward.

Authorities say there have been persons of interest in the case but never enough evidence to charge someone.

There is a $6,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction of those responsible for Livingston's death.
