Harrisburg man behind bars on multiple charges

Posted: Updated:

WHITE COUNTY -- A Harrisburg man wanted on multiple charges is now behind bars.

Illinois State Police found Xzavier B. Gibbs, 19, at a home in Equality Tuesday afternoon.

Gibbs was taken into custody without incident.

In June, the Saline County state's attorney issued "no bond" warrants for Gibbs and Jarred Crawford, 30, of Harrisburg. Crawford was arrested and taken into custody.

On July 5, a new warrant was issued for Gibbs after he failed to appear in court.

Charges against Gibbs include home invasion, aggravated battery, aggravated unlawful use of weapons, and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.

Gibbs was taken to the White County Jail.
