Man arrested after weekend shooting in Carbondale

CARBONDALE -- A Carbondale man is facing charges, after a weekend shooting.

Police officers were on foot patrol near the Hollywood Lounge early Sunday morning when they heard a gunshot come from inside the bar. 

About 15 minutes after the shooting a victim arrived at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. He is believed to be the person who was shot at Hollywood Lounge. That victim is not cooperating with police.

During the investigation, officers arrested Jonathon Moore, 32, of Carbondale, and charged him with unlawful use of a weapon by a felon for having a gun. Moore has not been charged in relation to the shooting.
