RANDOLPH CO. -- Two people are in the hospital with serious injuries after their motorcycle crashed into a truck in Randolph County.

The incident happened around 8:00 p.m. Saturday in Tilden near the intersection of Butler Street and Maple Street.

Police said Richard Grim, 55 of Sparta, was driving a motorcycle with passenger Debra Dyment, 62 of Metamora.

Grim allegedly stuck the back of a pickup truck, which led to both him and Dyment sustaining serious injuries.

They were flown to a regional hospital for treatment, according to police.

Grim was cited with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
