WSIL-TV -- Most experts will tell you to leave the photography to a professional, simply sit back and enjoy the eclipse experience.  However, if you are determined to photograph the event you need to do it the correct way.  

The video above shows SIU physics professor, Bob Baer, demonstrating how to make a solar filter for your camera.  He uses Baader solar film which is available from several sources including Amazon.com
