POPLAR BLUFF, MO -- Poplar Bluff police officers are looking for two women who stole from a jewelry store.

The Jeweler's Bench reported the theft on December 9.

The women pictured selected several items and asked that they be shipped for a wedding. As the jewelry was being placed into a shipping box one of the women took a bag of jewelry valued around $9,700.

After the box was sealed the women paid a $200 deposit and left the store to go to a bank.

Employees were suspicious after the women didn't return and opened the box to find the bag missing.

If you have information about these women please contact Officer J. Woodruff at jwoodruff@pbpolice.org or by calling (573) 785-5776 ext. 1360.
