CARBONDALE -- Another night of protests in Carbondale Wednesday over police shootings in Baton Rouge, Minnesota, and Dallas.
A small group of a few dozen gathered around 9:00 p.m. in central Carbondale to march through the streets.
A spokesperson from the Black Lives Matter movement on the scene told us their group had nothing to do with the Wednesday night protest.
Those in the protest group claimed to be an anti-establishment group, protesting recent violent activity between police and citizens around the country,
In fact, participants passed out flyers protesting police violence. Many did not want their picture taken and did not want to talk about their presence on the streets.
It comes after an incident Sunday night in which protesters and motorists got a little too close, resulting in a bit of a social media storm, and some scrutiny from Carbondale Police.
