Sensitive Santa returns for children with disabilities

Posted: Updated:

WSIL -- Visiting Santa Claus is a tradition for many families.  But for some kids sitting down with Jolly Ol' St. Nick can be overwhelming.

That's where the Autism Society of Southern Illinois steps in to help.  For the third year in a row, the group is bringing back Sensitive Santa and Mrs. Claus.  The visits are appointment only and are happening December 12 and 13.

Email Stephanie at the Autism Society to set up a time and to learn more about the program. The event is free to participants.
